A Family Business Built on Trust
Magnum Bathrooms passed down to the Allen family after 50 years’ service on 1 October 2018.
It was a phone call out of the blue from the founder of Magnum bathrooms that changed Paul and Michelle’s world for the better:
“I am looking for someone to take over my baby,” says Mick Tredwell. “I want my business to go to a family I can trust.
With 10 years’ experience managing bathroom showrooms, Paul felt honoured:
“Mick wanted a family that would enthusiastically take it from strength-to-strength, whilst maintaining the high levels of customer care they are renowned for.”
The super-friendly team including the former owner’s son Ben (who has worked for the company for
12 years) and the jack of all trades James are experts in creating end-to-end bathroom solutions for
local families regardless of their budget.
Quality and comfort go without saying but, what really gets the pulses racing is the wide range of UK and international brands on offer in the 2000 Sq. ft. showroom and offices.
Who wouldn’t love to own a suite from the world’s most luxurious brand, Swiss Laufen; add Italian designer flair with GSI; dance in the med with Spanish Roca; get into the Turkish Vitra or, some R&R from the Cumbrian Lake District’s Kudos?
The finishing touches include fashion statement cast iron radiators from Bisque; towel rails from Zehnder or pure wet rooms from the Impey range.
“I want people to come in and trust us…to get a good vibe, whether they are the children of past customers, new bathroom adventurers or the trade,” says Michelle.

Customer promise
We greet with a smile and talk through your options before producing a CAD drawing to match your requirements. We may undertake a site visit. We will connect you with our trusted installers and you can expect your bathroom to be completed in approximately 14 days depending on size.
